Our Restaurant Review Policy

Welcome! We are passionate about discovering and sharing the best dining experiences in Southern Oregon. As a three-time cookbook author and co-author of PURE 5:2 Transformation In 21 Days with my husband Geoff, we have a deep appreciation for food crafted with care. Having previously reviewed restaurants while living in the UK, we are particularly drawn to establishments that emphasize locally sourced, made-from-scratch dishes using PURE ingredients.

We provide honest and engaging restaurant reviews, which we share across multiple platforms, including our website, Facebook, and Instagram. Our goal is to highlight what makes each restaurant unique while maintaining authenticity and credibility with our audience.

How Our Reviews Work

  • We offer two review options:

    1. Chef’s Selection – The chef curates the meal for us. In this case, we coordinate a scheduled visit in advance.

    2. Diner’s Choice – We order freely from the menu to experience the restaurant as any guest would. This visit remains anonymous.

  • In exchange for a fair and unbiased review, as well as promotion across multiple platforms, we request a complimentary meal for two guests.

  • Prior to our visit, we ask that the restaurant confirm via email:

    • The designated meal credit amount.

    • Whether you prefer us to order freely or review a selection curated by the chef.

  • If we are dining anonymously, we will present the pre-arranged email confirmation to our server at the conclusion of the meal to settle the bill.
